"Cruelty-Free" Cosmetics Testing
In recent years, European countries and Taiwan have made important changes to their policies on verification methods for the development of cosmetics and skin care products, completely banning the use of animal models for testing.
The client wanted to use the skin chip model for animal replacement experiments, so the Anivance AI team collaborated with the client to develop the skin chip model. The unique advantages of the skin chip model in 3D cell culture overcome the limitations of traditional 2D skin models, which lack the complex physiological functions of human tissues and organs.
Cancer Drug Efficacy Testing
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in countries around the world. One of the major challenges in cancer research is the establishment of tumor models, many of which contribute to tumor behaviour, including tumor proliferation, invasion, metastasis and angiogenesis.
To address these challenges, the Anivance AI team has jointly developed a dynamic 3D tumor spheroid-on-a-chip platform with customers. Our approach involves creating a controllable hydrogel that mimics the tumor microenvironment and human breathing behavior, utilizing various 3D tumor spheroids to investigate cancer progression, and integrating a high-throughput imaging system for real-time monitoring of drug response.
